Kadija Zbairi is a licensed architect (DPLG), originally from Montpellier. After working in other cities, she returned to her home territory in 2017 with a renewed perspective on the urban, social, and environmental challenges facing the metropolis. She specialises in biomimetic architecture, a discipline that draws inspiration from living systems to design more resilient, resource-efficient urban spaces in harmony with local ecosystems. She was the only architect to contribute to the 2019 Assises de la transition agro-écologique et de l'alimentation durable, demonstrating her commitment at the intersection of urban planning, ecological stewardship, and food sovereignty.

Engaged in public life, Kadija Zbairi stood as a candidate in the legislative elections, asserting a citizen presence in political life without party affiliation. Her approach is rooted in a non-partisan citizen movement, convinced that the transformation of the city must come from residents themselves, not from party logic.

For the 2026 municipal elections, Kadija Zbairi leads the list "La Municipaliste", whose slogan — "À vous de jouer !" ("Your turn!") — encapsulates a political vision grounded in active citizen participation. The programme is built around four main axes: the city as commons, culture in everyday life, ecological transition, and citizen participation. A candidacy that seeks to place residents at the heart of the decisions that shape the city.
